Supervised Parenting Time

Parenting From The Heart’s Supervised Parenting Time offers you comprehensive and professional services that’s individually tailored to meet your family's need. When dealing with Personal Protection Orders, we will ensure that your child will not be entangled in the conflicts of separation and divorce.  We will provide the means for your child to enjoy safe contact with their non-custodial parent. We believe that it’s important for every child and parent to stay connected.

This is an off-site service.

Supervised Parenting-Time Program

This off-site service offers the opportunity for noncustodial parents to spend time with their child/children observed by a certified parent educator as the supervisor. The supervisor is responsible for the safety and well-being of the child/children at all times and will terminate the visit if the well-being of the child/children is compromised in any way.

The supervisor will comply with court orders, parent agreements and ensure the visitation goes smoothly and without incident. The supervisor will observe and comprehensively record all interactions and conversations between the child/children and parent. The supervisor will observe the meeting between the parent and child in an impartial manner and will not intervene but instead watch the parties interact.

The supervisor will stay within hearing and sight range of them at all times. If he/she notices something that might put the child in danger, he/she will intervene or suspend the parenting-time.  Otherwise, the supervisor will keep interruptions to a minimum. Supervised Exchange if needed, is included at no additional cost.

As the coach, my job is to empower you as a parent to further build and develop the parenting skills and knowledge already possessed and address any areas of concerns as it relates to child development.  I’ll also educate you on the importance of your relationship with your child. I will be honest, direct, and at times challenge you in ways that might feel uncomfortable.

As the client, you will focus on developing a positive relationship with your child and implement the strategies learned in your parenting classes and through our conversations.  You will be expected to be honest about your progress and to discuss any concerns should the coaching relationship not meet your expectations.
